Poll: Keybinds in config -- consolidated or separate?

• Have keybinds in a separate ini file, keep current control settings in config.ini
• Have keybinds in a separate ini file, move current control settings to the new keybinds ini file

I would personally love it if all config options were in external files so that they could be transferred between test installations. (So long as compatibility never becomes an issue)

For the final product though it may not really be necessary to have external files if you have steamcloud support on the docket.

Yeah that's what I'm moving towards -- right now, config.ini has everything except for keybinds (I think). But should the config.ini have EVERYTHING or would it be better to have things broken up into separate files? Personally, I like having just one file to keep up with.

I think I'll be able to sync things over steam cloud while still having an external file you can manually transport wherever you need it.

edit: ha, found a discourse bug.. edited one of the poll options and now the percentage of voters calculation is messed up

Since I can't see the keybinds in the main ini file even now, and that I've only just come across this poll (183 days since last post, oops), I voted for a separate file, for the case where people want to share control schemes without altering visual settings.

Whether this case is important enough to keep it separate, I do not know - I just assume it would be better?

I'd also like control schemes in a config file, at least over the registry.

I think it makes sense for people to want to share controls and graphics settings separately, so separate files seems reasonable.

If the config is one file but controls are in their own section, would that be easy enough? Simple copy and paste to replace section.
