Shield

Intro

The Shield can be used to protect yourself and objectives.

• Blocks projectiles and direct line of sight attacks while held
• Can be deployed to protect a larger area
• As the held shield takes damage, it will turn red -- if it takes too much damage in a short amount of time, it will be temporarily disabled and then respawn after a duration
• While deployed shots cannot penetrate inside of the shield sphere it but shots from inside the shield sphere can go outward

Usage

• Hold LMB to hold the shield in the direction you are facing
• RMB to deploy -- while deployed, you can switch weapons and the shield will remain deployed
• While deployed, the shield sphere will display a progressive visual indicator as to when it will disappear and announce when it can be redeployed
