Intro
The 'Teleport Blade' combines the capability of sudden position adjustment with a tag-able explosive that only detonates after a period of time of the target being in the line of sight of the tagger. Unlike boosting, which increases your speed up to a set amount in the direction you're facing, the teleport functionality only changes position, without a speed change or soft damage.
Usage
- When you're in range to hit someone, both them and your crosshair will be highlighted green
-
LMB tags the target with the explosive
- If you hold LMB after you have successfully tagged someone, you'll charge the explosion
- Maintain a line of sight to charge the explosion -- the more accurate you aim at the target, the faster it will charge. If you lose the line of sight for too long, the explosion will cancel
-
RMB to teleport a short distance forward
When a viable target is within tagging range, they light up bright green across their surface indicating that you will successfully tag them. You then click and hold LMB to stab and stick them with the explosive.
Once an explosive is planted you must maintain line of sight to send the signal for the bomb to explode. This is indicated by two lines forming on both sides of the crosshair and moving inward, when they meet the bomb detonates. The closer the target is to the middle of the crosshair, the faster the explosion will charge.
If line of sight is broken for too long or not maintained well enough the bomb detaches from the target and fizzles out requiring the Teleport Blade user to get within range again to plant another explosive.
The explosion can only damage opponents, but may deal soft damage to the player that placed it.
Targets of planted sticky bombs will have a red flash in their player view once every second and will be able to hear a warning indicator sound until either they are destroyed by the bomb, or they break line of sight and the bomb fizzles.
Teleporting
Hold RMB to send out an orb; release to teleport to it. The orb will shatter after a set time, or if it collides with an obstacle.
