It would be a very short range shotgun/spread weapon. The damage would decrease very sharply the farther range it would be used at. One blow at point blank would be devastating, but the cool down would be very long, similar to an Ion Distorter from the dead game Robocraft. On defense, rushing down a player who can't travel as fast as you would be made more effective. It could also be used for players who run too close to enemies. On offense you can hit chasing players by quickly turning around. The spread would be around 2x the size of a rocket launcher blast but in a cone instead of a sphere. As soon as you reach around 6 mechs length it would do no damage at all, with optimal range reached at 1 mechs range apart. Knock back would be applied if it at 4 mechs range or closer, as a sort of denial. Alt fire would be a boost in the reverse direction of the shot. The ways to counter this weapon would be to outrange it or to dodge it's first blow, to then counter. It would not often be used to kill, only to escape.
