What kind of forum is this?
We use Discourse -- an open source, next gen forum platform designed to encourage better discussion and community. It can take a little getting used to, but it's worth it. To feel more at home, you may want to visit the Categories page. You should also get a 'welcome' PM that explains how things work.
How will moderation work?
For acceptable posting policies, check out the posting guidelines. Moderation on Discourse is automatically crowdsourced -- users will gradually become more trusted and gain additional rights to help moderate. You can read up on how this system works here. We can obviously override this stuff if it is abused, though.
Let's create a new kind of gaming community
Most of this is covered in the posting guidelines but it's really important to me so I'm going to reiterate. Gaming communities can be notoriously toxic -- I want the Arms of Telos community to break that mold. When new people discover a community full of bickering and abrasive comments, it's a huge turnoff. Let's get this right early on so we have a strong foundation to build on.
